Passion for horsepower

Cars are fantastic. A symbol of both technological development and freedom. Since their invention, they have been an inspiring subject in many forms of art. Tough, fast, powerful, impressive; every model has his or her own story. Dreams or memories; one car will have a different meaning for every different person. This is what makes a painting of a car so moving.

They all have their own character and they’re absolutely stunning. And on top of that, when they get the chance to be portrayed, they can stay really still.

Interview Gli Amici della Ferrari

Amazing! Recently I was interviewed by the chief editor of the Gli Amici della Ferrari (GAdF). This magazine is published four times a year for members of the Ferrari Club Netherlands.

In this article you can get to know me and my painting process. Click the button below to read the article. (Disclaimer: at the moment the article is available in Dutch only)

It all started with this painting. A Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, painted in the late summer of 2016. A fine linen canvas (100x160cm), stretched around an unique aluminium body. Complete with a protecting varnish and a robust wooden depth frame.

As you can see in the picture, the painting was recently on exhibition at the Porsche Classic Centre in Enter. But as of this moment it sits comfortably in the home of its new owner.
