Recently, me and my work ended up at the Historic Grand Prix. Lucky me! It was in one word: amazing. It is a very special experience to see all those classics in action, although perhaps next time I should bring some earplugs…

I received a warm welcome in the Paddock Club (in the Tarzan-corner). Here was a great spot reserved for me to do some live painting. For this special occasion, I had prepared a new canvas with a legendary icon as my subject. It is rumoured that when this car was introduced in 1961, mister Enzo Ferrari himself described her as ‘the most beautiful car ever made’. This can off course only mean one model: the Jaguar E-type.

Enzo is not the only one charmed by the E-type. I’m obviously quite a fan myself, and the public at Zandvoort was also very enthusiastic about my work. I spoke to many Dutch and non-Dutch visitors. Especially Belgium, Germany and of course Britain were well represented. Thank you all, for a couple of fantastic racing days and I will see you all next year!
